Steve Jamming on the Drums

This video was taken back in March 2006 when I still lived in Utah. I have fun doing this. I love to play all different kinds of beats. I am a versatile drummer. This video is a piece that I created. I love playing Latin music and going in and out of time signatures. This video showcases my single bass drum capabilities. No, I do not own a double pedal. Although I plan on buying a double pedal someday, I have found that I can do quite a bit with a single pedal. This is the last video of my playing. Since then, we moved to Florida and have lived in a apartment. The time is coming up soon when we will be back in a home and I can play everyday like I used too. At least I have had my trusty pad and pillows to practice on. There has not been one day that has gone by that I do not practice rudiments and speed. Being on the University of Utah drumline taught me the importance of practicing simple rudiments on a daily basis. This is something that I really stress when I teach.
